phone.
My baby 3GS iPhone. Although it’s painfully slow now and I just recently dropped it thus making it even slower, I still love it. Sure the top corner is cracked but it still works fine, there is not one single scratch on the screen and it’s the same good, old phone I bought 2+ years ago. It’s my baby because I bought it with my own money and have been paying the bill...

Sorry but I was so starved that I came straight home, whipped up some dinner, and scarfed it down in 2.5 minutes flat. And such, no picture.

your view today.
I took this quite literally and since I started doing this at night here’s the view from my room at night. Not going to lie, it’s pretty awesome. It’s good during the day, but at night it just lights up (pun intended).

WOW.
Day 13
A favorite travel quote.
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” – St. Augustine
And just for kicks…
“Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you’ve imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler.” - Henry David Thoreau
Day 12
Someone who influenced you to travel abroad.
I don’t think I’ve had anyone in particular influence me. For as long as I can remember I’ve dreamt of visiting all of Europe’s countries to see all those landmarks I’d read about and seen on TV. (Sidenote: When I first saw the Eiffel Tower on Bastille Day, it took my breath away and brought tears to my eyes. I could not...
Day 11
Did you have any milestones or “firsts” while traveling or living abroad?
Got drunk with my HS teachers at 17 in a British Pub in Greenwich. Can’t really top that.
And a lot of other “firsts” pertain to trying new foods while traveling.
Day 10
Essential things to pack on every trip.
Chargers. Camera. Phone. Underwear. A nice going out outfit. An open mind that not everything will go according to plan.
Day 9
A song you like from another country/language.
I LOVE “Alors On Danse” or “Danza Kuduro.” The latter makes me wanna dance like no song has in a while.
Day 8
A favorite food from another country/culture.
Favorite food from another country? French onion soup in Paris. Or the street crepes.
Favorite food from another culture? Sushi.

On the Facebook Timeline
Can I just say, for stalking purposes, this new Facebook timeline is confusing as all hell. I don’t care what you did in ‘06 or what paged you just liked. I WANT TO KNOW WHAT YOUR INTERESTS ARE! What sorta movies are you into…music? shows? activities? And where did you recently check into? And where the eff are your pictures. But most importantly can I still poke you?
“Seek Bromance” has been playing in my head (and my car) on loop for the past 5 days. And the best part? I’m still not sick of it.
On Life
I think it’s starting to get unhealthy how much I miss college and 507. Honestly, who sits and looks through pictures from graduation for 30 minutes and gets teary eyed? But looking back on those pictures just reminded me of all the good times and how I don’t regret one single thing I did. It truly was a great time and I figured I’d get over it by the time the New Year rolls...

Day 7
Besides people, what do you miss from home?
The food. Dear God, the food.
Day 6
Day 06 – What does “home” mean to you?
Home is the place where you can come back to after days, months, years of absence and feel like not a day has passed. It is the place where you’re showered with love and warmth from family, good food is always on the table and a warm bed awaits you every night. You’re surrounded by those closest to you and who will be there for you no matter...
Day 5
Day 05 - What do you bring with you when you travel?
Underwear, underwear and some more underwear. Absolute necessity. I also check and double-check I have my camera and phone chargers. And of course I make sure to bring my camera and a pair of comfortable shoes. And maybe a going-out outfit because you never know.
Day 4
A picture of you in another country.
All my cool foreign country pictures are NOT on my hard drive. Grrr. So here’s me in Romania. haha
Get water from a spring. Duh.
Paintballing.
Rachel and Araceli visited! and of course my wonderful cousin.
Day 3
An adventure/challenge you had while traveling or living abroad.
I haven’t had any crazy adventures/challenges while traveling out of the country but I guess the closest one would be climbing the Pyramid at Chichen Itza in Cancun, Mexico. I still remember the pretty much 100% humidity with 100 degree weather thus putting the temperature at somewhere around 120. It was awful. Sweat was...
Day 2
Where you’d like to travel next.
Where wouldn’t I want to travel next? But I digress. This is my big master plan for this summer.
Go to Chicago to visit Rachel Re-visit New York Make my way to Boston to see Michael Venture to Hanover, New Hampshire to hang out with my main squeeze, Shirley Fly to London and hang out with some old friends Go to Denmark to see my cousin and then, you know,...
Day 1
Favorite place(s) you’ve been to.
If I absolutely HAD to pick one, I’d have to pick London. I loved that city so much. There was so much to do, see, eat, drink and just experience. It unexpectedly took my breath away and I would return in a New York minute. Speaking of New York, that’s my second favorite. The city was everything I had expected and more. The social scene is definitely...

On Sunday Dinner Numero Tres
Had another Sunday Dinner this week although it wasn’t as creative as last week. This time around it was just me and Melissa and we just made a soup from Harry & David. It was a Corn Chowder which turned out to be pretty delicious although it was a bit saltier that I would’ve liked. Luckily we had some oyster cracker which helped take the saltiness away. It was an easy soup to...

Grievances
Sometimes, while at work, I get bored. And during this time, I like to sit and think of all the stupid shit I have to witness every week. So I decided to make a list. Here’s part 1.
Doctor, please stop staying “Just two more minutes” to the patient waiting. When you say that, you really mean 10-15, but they don’t know that. And they start getting mad at me and start asking...
On TV Shows
Ever since both Lost and Heroes ended, I felt like my TV-watching experience has been lacking something. At the time, I didn’t really know what it was missing because I was covering a pretty broad spectrum with my TV shows: I got medical drama with House, stupid pointless drama with Grey’s Anatomy, period drama with Mad Men, comedy with Modern Family and Parks & Rec, sex with True...
